Tip #1: Accurate Meal Counts

Do you offer a free meal or other free food options at your event? Free meals are a common feature of many conferences and events where a lunch or breakfast is included in the price of registration. However it's not uncommon for attendees to eat these meals elsewhere, for a wide range of reasons that may not have anything to do with your event itself.

If you knew exactly how many people were interested in your free meal, you would only buy what was requested. Wouldn't this help your bottom line?

While your caterer might love it, does it look professional to buy 100 meals when only 75 people show up?

DW Event enables you can ask attendees as they register whether they will be taking advantage of the free meal or attending a "social" break where cocktails and hors d'oeuvres are being served. With our easy online registration forms, you simply require a "yes" or "no" answer to whether they will be attending these portions of your event. The phrasing of the question could be "should we reserve a free luncheon/place for you at our social?"

When multiplied by hundreds of heads, that simple question can save you thousands of dollars and prevent you from throwing money at attendees that won't be taking advantage of it.
